Rainy Lake Golden Rules

On common grounds:

· Please no dumping of trash, trees, brush, garbage or ashes on any property or road at Rainy Lake.

· There are no motorized vehicles allowed in the park area or on the beach at any time.  Park in the designated areas only.  Park all boat trailers in the parking area only, not at the boat ramp!

· The beach and park area should be left clean after each use.  Please leave the area as you found it (or cleaner) in order to maintain our beautiful environment at Rainy Lake.  If you make use of the camp area, make sure all fires are extinguished before leaving the park.

· Fireworks and the discharge of guns are very dangerous.  Please use extreme caution and consideration for your neighbors.   Remember to clean up any debris.

· Property owners are required to have Guests Park on their own property only!  No parking or obstruction of the road or road easement is allowed at any time.

 On our waterway:

· Before 10 AM and after 7 PM is fishing time only!  No power boating, water skiing, Personal Water Craft, or waking on the lake during the quiet period.  Please observe this sporting agreement.

· There is no docking or livery of boats allowed at or near the swim area at the beach.  Please respect the area as reserved for swimmers.  Any craft left unattended at the park or beach is subject to removal at the owner’s expense.

 On our roadways:

· All persons operating vehicles of any kind on the ranch must use caution, must obey the speed limit, and observe the rights of others while using the private roads at Rainy Lake.

As posted, the speed limit is 20 MPH for all motorized vehicles!

 On your property:

· Please be aware that noise (such as loud music, racing engines, fireworks, boisterous guests, etc) is a significant source of pollution and annoyance.  Please be courteous to your neighbor and respect the fact that your “music” can be another’s headache.  Your Board, with reluctance, will enforce our noise abeyance covenants.

· Any camping device such as a tent, trailer, or motor home shall not remain on any lot for more than seven months in any twelve-month period.

· There is no open hunting land on the ranch.  Hunting of any kind is not allowed on the Ranch.

Your Board of Directors would like to request that you consider the above as common sense additions, as well as attention to your ownership Covenants.  Periodically, we all need to be reminded to observe the rights of others.  Rainy Lake property owners want to live in a safe, peaceful, healthy, beautiful area so let’s all contribute to maintain these qualities.  The Board of Directors welcomes any comments or additions you may have to these “rules”.

It is your responsibility as a property owner to share these common sense guidelines with your guests.
