Board Meeting
Nov. 21, 2009
Not Recorded

MEETING: Called to order at 2:07PM and held at 13310 West Shore Drive.

PRESENT: Debby Siebel, Dennis Farmer, Dave Tesmer, Chuck Lewis and Marge Brown. Dave Cook via conference call. Bob Loomer had excused absence. A quorum was present.

MINUTES: Of Sept. 19, 2009 were read by Marge Brown noting a typing error. Chuck Lewis motioned to accept the Minutes as read. Seconded by Dennis Farmer – motion carried.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Due to equipment malfunction Treasurer’s Report of July 1, 2009 thru Oct. 31, 2009 was not read/recorded. The report was thoroughly discussed using the hand-out given to all Board Members present by Debby Siebel.

A question arose concerning the $735.00 on the report that was used for payment of the biologist report. Debby Siebel will make the correction and e-mail corrected Treasurer’s Report to all Board Members. Dennis Farmer motioned to accept the Treasurer’s Report as discussed, seconded by Chuck Lewis – motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS: No further discussion was needed.

NEW BUSINESS:

Port-a-John – The need for cleaning was brought to the attention of the Board. Debby Siebel will call to have it cleaned before winter weather.

Boat Ramp – Chuck Lewis explained in detail the work that has been done to the boat ramp and surrounding area to date.

Fish Survey – The Board felt that Bob Loomer should contact Pine Island Services, Inc, for details and cost of the possible survey whether it would be a net survey or electronic shock survey. Also, Bob Loomer and Alan Hickman should stay in touch.

Alan Hickman will be asked to attend future board meetings either in person or by conference call.

Covenants and Restrictions – The Board strongly feels that the Covenants and Restrictions need to be revised because of
all the inconsistencies. This subject will be brought before the association members in the near future. It was also noted that any association member violating the Covenants and Restrictions resulting in legal fees be sent the bill (see preamble of 1992) to cover all costs incurred by the violation.

The Board also felt that too many trailers (owners) are not adhering to the Covenants and Restrictions with regards to the time limitation. Dave Tesmer motioned and asked that Dennis Farmer keep records of all present and future trailers that are brought into our private lake area.

Shore Roads – West Shore Drive was discussed at length without any resolution. More discussion and research is needed.

Delinquent Assessment Payments - Association Members that are delinquent on their assessment payments are in direct
violation of the Covenants and Restrictions. Dennis Farmer has authored a letter that will be sent to all association

members that are delinquent. Dave Tesmer motioned to have Dennis Farmer discuss this letter with our lawyer. In the meantime Dennis Farmer will “fine tune” the letter. Seconded by Dave Cook – motion carried.
