LEPOA EXECUTIVE SESSION

April 14, 1997

Meeting was called to order by President Mike Eberly at 9:55 p.m.

The Board commended Bob Ashworth for work on the Website. They also thanked Don Stocker for all of the hours put in this past month on attending meetings, etc.

Tim Callahan motioned to approve $200. for funding the Boat Parade, Bob Ashworth passed.

Mike reported that Don Edwards has stated he is not selling Private Park A; it is in the plat and it is for lake access for the people across Donegal Dr.

Rod Kurowski said the steel markers have been placed along the walkways on the North side of the lake. They are going to get more for the south side. Rod reported a steel post which is sticking out of the ground in Shannon Park (the remains of a BBQ that was once in the area) which could become a hazard.

Mike Eberly asked again if the Board wanted to have an off-site, non-Board meeting with the three developers of the east side of the lake. Board agreed that this would be beneficial.

Bob Ashworth asked if the Board was still cohesive in the decision not to allow any backlots to become part of the Association unless they have a legal funneling access. Board agreed this decision still stands.

Leon Eisemann asked what the annual $20. Drain Commission assessment on Loch Erin tax bills is used for. Rod Kurowski said that this money is specifically employed for paying the person assigned to our area to respond all pump issues (maintaining pumps and catch basins).

Rod motioned to survey the shoreline owned by current Loch Erin residents with a view to sending a letter to them asking for help with shoreline stabilization. Bob Ashworth added to the motion to include in the letter a copy of Aquest’s map of bad areas of erosion. Tim Callahan seconded. Passed.

Rod reported that applications for DEQ permits have been sent for work on Parks E and G. The contractor anticipates starting the work in late May.

Rod asked where the signed approval for the Swedish drain in Park B had disappeared to. The contractor said he never received it. Carol Marsh will look into it.

Mike Eberly will look into whether or not Bruce Panzl has an easement allowing access to the lake – does he have riparian rights.

This led to a discussion of where additional docking could be placed for south side lot owners. Tim Callahan said that plans included putting docks at the 40 acres. It was also decided to straighten the dock at Tipperary Park and to extend it around the island.

Leon Eisemann motioned to adjourn, Rod Kurowski seconded.

Meeting adjourned 11:15 p.m.
