Board of Director’s Meeting

Van Buren Conference Center

Tuesday, September 12, 2000

Mel Brown called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm due to the expected absence of President Glen Wilkinson.

Present were: Past President-Mel Brown; Treasurer-Pat Cubbage; Secretary-Bernice Packer; Keepsake-Jerry King; Palmer Beach-David Baker; Eagle Lake Park-Chuck Cubbage; Trails End-Harold Finley; Eagle Lake Campers-Skip Youngblood; Hoodrije-Rich Marcinek; Barb Kohl.

Absent:  President Glen Wilkinson; Vice President-Tom Kohl; Collins Cove-Matt Leighton; Member at Large-John Tapper; Eagle Lake Subdivision-Brian Hanson.

The Minutes were read and approved.  Pat Cubbage gave the treasurer’s report with $4195.00 presently in our account.  We have 111 members, 74 paid members and 37 have not paid.  Harold Finley moved to accept the treasurer’s report.  Jerry King 2^nd.  Motion Carried.

Report followed on petition results.  Hoodrije-38; Keepsake-all but 6; Eagle Lake Campground-100%; Eagle Lake Park-30 out of 53; Trails End-21 signatures.

There was no old business.

New Business: Doug Dorgan stated his concern with the lake level.  Mel Brown explained the level depends on Lake Michigan, also on rain fall and snow fall.

Discussion turned to Jet Skis and the unsafe riding done on some.

Jerry King moved to adjourn at 8:05 pm.. Pat Cubbage 2^nd.  Motion passed.
