President Glen Wilkinson called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm.

Present were: President Glen Wilkinson; Secretary-Bernice Packer; Treasurer-Pat Cubbage; Chuck Cubbage-Eagle Lake Drive; Skip Youngblood-Campground; Jerry King, Keepsake.

Absent were: Vice President-Tom Kohl Past President-Mel Brown; Harold Finley-Trails End; Rich Marcinek-Hoodrije; Brian Hansen-ELSub; John Faul; John Tapper-member at Large; Alwina Williams- Palmer Beach and Matt Leighton-Collins Cove.

There was not a quorum with only six present out of 14.

The minutes for the October meeting, taken by Mel Brown were passed out.

There is $4118.44 in the Treasury.

Petitions were discussed. We are six signatures over the 50 + 1% required. The contract to Enviro Science has been sent in. The petitions have been presented to the Paw Paw Township Board and they were accepted. The agreement is for a period of three years. The interest charge would be 7% per year. The first bill received would be 1/3 if the amount plus 7% (5% interest plus 2% charges.) There will be three public hearings with the first one being Decembe4 14 at 7pm.

There are 333 lots with 142 landowners with lake front. (The 142 includes each individual of Collins Cove.) There are 191 back lot owners. The only ones who can stop or argue the process are the ones who signed the petitions. It was suggested the lake frontage people should be assessed one unit of benefit. The back lots with lake access should be ½ of that. The cost would be approximately $160.00 for a back lot and $200 for lake frontage.

It is the feeling Collins Cove residents be charged the same amount as one unit of benefit.

It was thought people may pay in one year if they so wish. Enviro Science would receive $18,000 the first year to put the “seed in”; $15,000 to reseed where necessary. The third year they would reseed if results were not effective.
