Tom Kohl will double check with Glen. Committee reports: Weed Control: Proposals need to be gotten from the different methods so we may have an idea of the costs. Health & Safety: Harold Finley will talk to the State Police and John Tapper will talk to the sheriff. They will find out in the spring what the current laws are. Skip Youngblood expressed his concerns with Safety. He suggested having the sheriff come back and talk to the people. The focus of safety should be put in a newsletter. Skip also suggested putting up a sign at the Eagle Lake public access. Finance Committee: No report. Newsletter: Suggestion was to keep people informed what is going on through their E-mail addresses. Barb Kohl would also put the information on the web page. This would be an attempt to save some postage. Comment was made of the importance of talking to your neighbors and inform them what is going on. Mel delivered individual notices of tonight’s meeting to neighbors as did Ruth Wilkinson. Also, when a newsletter is done, they could be handed out personally, if at all possible, as another attempt to save postage. Government: Tom will see if there are any government monies available to help with our weed control project. There was no further old business. New Business: Roll call will be taken at each meeting of each area to be represented and designation made of who is absent.
