I offered to
create this web site for my Mom, who is the secretary of
the Crockery Lake Association. The main purpose of the
site was to put the newsletters on the web, so that other
lake associations could read and use them for various
purposes. I thought it would be fun to provide a place
for lake residents or visitors to contribute their (mis)adventures
and memories at the lake, so I am compiling a page called
"Stories from the Lake". I thought it would
also be interesting to discover the geological,
archaeological, and historical facts about the lake and
its residents, so I am working on a "History of the
