2009 Fecal Coliform results

    Fecal Coliform tests are scheduled for July thru September, at sites around the Lake.
The USEPA recommendations (in 2000) are:
for body contact recreation is fewer than 200 colonies per 100 mL;
for fishing and boating, fewer than 1000 colonies per 100 mL.

The first set of Fecal Coliform tests were done at various sites around Baldwin Lake in July 2009. The results
of those tests, in random order, were: 18 -- 8 -- 12 -- 5 -- 91 -- 730 -- 39 -- 4 -- 13 -- 7

The second (last) set of Fecal Coliform tests were done at various sites around Baldwin Lake September 17, 2009.
The results of those tests, in random order, were: 5 -- 17 -- 2 -- 16 -- 160 -- 10 -- 14 -- 13 -- 3 -- 14
