Starting July 13th the Fecal Coliform tests will be done 3 times at 12 sites around the Lake and, as Carol Erbe mentioned last year, "Results will also be given at association meetings and in newsletters." and "The exact location will be kept confidential…".
The USEPA recommendation (in 2000) are: for body contact recreation is fewer than 200 colonies per 100 mL; for fishing and boating, fewer than 1000 colonies per 100 mL.

The first set of Fecal Coliform tests were done at the 12 sites around Baldwin Lake on July 13th. The results
of those tests, in random order, were: 160 -- 60 -- 8 -- 23 -- 9 -- 120 -- 30 -- 590 -- 91 -- 13 -- 35 -- 1200

The second set of Fecal Coliform tests were done on August 4th at the worst 6 sites of the 12 sites around Baldwin Lake from July 13th. The results
of those tests, in random order, were: 9 -- 39 -- 11 -- 28 -- 38 -- 8
