High School/Lake Association

The state-wide program to monitor lakes and streams  in Michigan...

The program initially began in Year 2001.   Nine High School Science Departments were chosen to monitor selected lakes.  Since that time, the program has expanded each year through the addition of more high school/lake association partnerships to monitor new lakes.
