Minutes

VIII. Old Business - Representatives of Spring Hill Camp asked
for comments about their lake programs. Positive
comments came from members regarding boat traffic being much better this year.
The camp director, Todd
Weinberger, explained how the Saturday boaters are the camp staff members and
their use of equipment is a
reward for their hard work. He invited interested members to tour their
main camp by contacting him for
arrangements and also stated that our association could possibly use their Rose
Lake facility for special
events.
IX. New Business - Kathy
Lindstrom is willing to offer a boater safety class at Rose Lake next summer if
there
is enough interest.
Eugene Cryderman commented on a possible "quiet time" on the lake in 1/2 hour
before dark and also the
issue of bright lights on the lake in the nighttime hours.
Matt encouraged members to get him information on their life on the lake so he
could publish the history of
Rose Lake in his newsletter.
Next meeting place could possibly be held at the Van Hattum cottage. Final
site will be posted in the
spring newsletter.
X. Meeting
adjourned - Meeting ended at 10:20 a.m.
50 - 50 winners were Mary Cook from Rose Lake Park staff, and the Rose Lake
Youth Camp.
