Docks and boat lifts are placed on shore each fall. Eleven Long Lake families and their friends for many years have been collectively helping each other each Labor Day weekend to remove their boat lifts .The team goes from one beach to the next removing and storing on shore the heavy equipment. Socializing makes the annual autumn ritual a celebration rather than a burdensome task for the families on Lakeside Blvd.
