The Long Lake Property Owner's Association was incorporated in
the fall of 1978. It is a non-profit organization and membership in the
association is limited to property owners in subdivisions bordering Long
Lake.
Each property owner constitutes one membership and is entitled to one
vote. The purpose of the association is to co-operate with and respect the
rights of all property owners, and to help secure improvements, and to aid in
maintaining and improving lake conditions by assisting and co-operating with all
existing subdivisions, federal, state and local government agencies for the
benefit of all. Meetings are held on the Saturday before Memorial Day, the
first Saturday of July and
August and the Saturday before Labor Day. We have a board of directors consisting of a
president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary and eleven zone directors.
