Classroom setting The Institute includes some time in the classroom. Participants may hear a lecture by a water resource expert, listen to a panel discussion or participate in learning activities.

Discussions between class members One of the requirements for the Institute is to complete an applied project and prepare a presentation for a poster session. Here Maynard Martin describes his project to fellow Institute class members Ron Calo and Michael Gaden.

Individual/Group Projects During one session of the Institute class members where able to informally discuss water resource management with representatives from nonprofit organizations involved in lake and stream management.
