Quick update (Official minutes will be posted for comment within the next few weeks):

  • A motion was made and passed to incorporate our association within the state of Michigan, accept the bylaws as distributed at the meeting, for the cost of the Michigan state fee ($20);
  • The vote on the pilot program to hook up Hassle's well through the culvert on West Oak Drive for the purpose of raising the lake passed.  Collection of monies to fund this initiative on a voluntary basis ($100/lake front home) will start immediately in an effort to get  the piping in place prior to the irrigation season.  The lake height will not exceed the agreed upon level of 20" below the top of the culvert.
  • Jon Lucker was appointed Lake Monitoring Coordinator for the upcoming season.  Dick Soper will be evaluating the lake later this month in order to determine the type of weed treatment that will be required this season.
  • Norm Sidler presented a report by the Aeration Committee regarding the Clean-Flo proposal and bid.  The membership voted that this committee should continue its investigation and report throughout the year as information is obtained for possible action at the 2003  annual membership meeting.
  • Election of officers:  Jon Lucker, Treasurer; Mark Petro, Secretary; Dave Piwnicki, Vice-President; Bobbie Piwnicki, President.
