    The Fecal Coliform tests were scheduled for July & September, at sites around the Lake.   As Carol Erbe mentioned previously, "Results will also be given at association meetings and in newsletters." and "The exact location will be kept confidential…".

The USEPA recommendations (in 2000) are:
for body contact recreation is fewer than 200 colonies per 100 mL;
for fishing and boating, fewer than 1000 colonies per 100 mL.

The first set of Fecal Coliform tests were done at the sites around Baldwin Lake on July 6th. The results
of those tests, in random order, were: 140 -- 13 -- 90 -- 4 -- 2400 -- 24 -- 240 -- 50 -- 81 -- 65 -- 110 -- 15

The second set of Fecal Coliform tests were done on September 7th but the Laboratory
had an internal problem with the samples so they requested that we redo those locations.
The results of those that did not need to be redone were: 5 -- 18 -- 72 -- 90 -- 250.
